"Beautiful setting and friendliness"

Camping De Saumont is located in Ruffieux, near Lake Bourget, Chanaz etc. Our mobile home was clean and comfortable; Many activities for children (trampoline, games etc.) The reception on the campsite was very nice, we really appreciated the kindness of the owners and their children! I recommend this campsite for the setting and the friendliness :)

Located in the department of Savoie in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in Ruffieux, camping Saumont 3 stars welcomes you in a green field, 5km north of Lake Bourget.

In this campsite blooming good tranquility and nature, you can stay in mobile homes or cottages that can accommodate between 3 and 8 people, fully equipped and flanked by covered terrace or, located in Conjux at the edge of the lake. Bourget, in one of the two apartments, for 4 people with balcony-terrace and garden furniture. Your tents, motorhomes and caravans can occupy spacious pitches, shaded and delimited, with or without electricity. The campsite also offers group accommodation with half-board service.

In order to satisfy young and old, the campsite offers a swimming pool and a paddling pool, bicycles for rent, two tennis courts for an optional fee, volleyball, badminton and petanque, a trampoline, two ping pong tables. There is also a children's play area and a large room equipped with a billiard table, a football table, a TV set to broadcast major sporting events and various board games and books to borrow.

In season, several animations will be programmed in the evening as playful or dancing meetings and convivial meals.

As for the restaurant, you will have access to a bread store, a snack bar offering typical or traditional dishes to eat on the spot or take away and individual barbecues. Note that a supermarket with petrol station is just 200 meters from the campsite.

From this family-friendly campsite, visit the typically Savoyard village of Chanaz (8km) or the inescapable Abbey of Hautecombe (10km), enjoy some spa treatments in Aix-les-Bains (20km) or, on the advice of your hosts, go hiking or cycling to discover the region!
