Camping des Chavannes is located near the lake of Aiguebelette. The 3 stars of this campsite are absolutely not deserved. The toilets are dilapidated and cleaned briefly with the jet of water but not every day. The alleys are overgrown with dog poop. "Permanent" residents do not bother to take their animals out of the campsite to do their needs. The playground (if you can call it that!) Is in a pitiful state. The animations are non-existent. Never again would I set foot in this campsite and I would never recommend it. That the owners question themselves and especially that they go back to work !!!

The 3-star camping Chavannes, located in Novalaise in the department of Savoie in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, welcomes you in an environment of nature in the heart of a wooded and green area of 3 hectares, 800 meters from the lake Aiguebelette, whose purity of water is famous in France.
In this friendly family campsite, you can stay quietly in mobile homes, air-conditioned or not, which can accommodate between 2 and 8 people or chalets for 2 to 6 or 8 holidaymakers - the latter being adapted for people with reduced mobility - all very well equipped, with TV included and free wifi, and flanked by covered terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Your tents and caravans will be able to invest shaded sites and delimited by hedges, with or without access to electricity.
For entertainment, relax and unwind, you will find a heated pool, a playground for children including a slide and swings, a ping-pong table, a game room with table football, a bowling alley, a playground. volleyball as well as an outdoor fitness area.
Many activities for all generations will be scheduled during the high season such as karaoke or dancing.
As for the restaurant, you will be able to benefit during the summer from the baker's morning pass and the pizza truck at mealtimes.
Good to know: the campsite accepts the good VACAF and your pet for free!
From this campsite surrounded by mountains, take advantage of the lake to swim, take a pedal boat ride or introduce you to some water sports, practice all types of hiking, paragliding or tree climbing via the surrounding sites and discover the typical culinary specialties of the Savoy!
