"A campsite in the mountains"

The Campsite is located in Camprieu Tents all equipped with electrical outlets and water points accessible. The welcome on the campsite was cool. Many regulars, in sedentary caravans or mobilhomes. I did not do activities with the campsite but there are so many forest trails to visit that the mountain is well served for hikers or people on bike. The nearby wooden house (public space) allows for activities with children (wooden games and old games). The tourist office at "Col de la Serreyrède" allows to see all the entertainment. The weather observatory of Mont Aigoual is a place that allows you to understand and learn the weather, summer is open with a bar next door.

Know-All-About-Camping

In the Occitanie region, in the department of Gard, in Saint-Sauveur-Camprieu, the 2-star campsite Le Térondel invites you to come and take a large bowl of nature in its area dotted with pines and beech, perched at 1100 meters altitude and crossed by the River Trevezel, located near Mount Aigoual and Lake Bonheur, in the heart of the Cévennes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In this campsite with direct access to the river, you can reside in mobile homes, log cabins or trapper cabins very well equipped, with or without toilets, flanked by terrace with garden furniture and can accommodate between 3 and 8 people . A comfortable cottage with 9 places open year round will also be available for rent. Will also be provided, to receive your tents, motorhomes and caravans, shaded sites, with electrical connections. Note that the campsite welcomes groups and mount hikers.

On site, children and adults can enjoy at leisure a playground for toddlers, a ping-pong table, a petanque, collective barbecues and the river directly accessible which will, at n 'no doubt, the favorite place for lovers of fishing and swimming in nature.

At the catering level, you will find a snack bar, a snack bar offering sandwiches, ice cream and picnic baskets, a breakfast service and a grocery store with local products for sale.

Starting from a family campsite, go on hikes on the surrounding multiple marked out lots, practice riding, speleology and canyoning via the surrounding sites and win the famous Mont Aigoual, 12 km away, to visit its museum and enjoy its panorama at Breathtaking!
