Camping Le Ried

Personally, for a 2 star campsite, I found that the services and benefits were not bad at all. The price / quality ratio is well justified, so there is no need to complain. The indoor pool is not very big but it is never overloaded, so you can bathe in peace. I loved the lake nearby but unfortunately it was a little chilly to dive. Maybe another time. The mobile home was ok, nothing to complain about. Basically, I had a successful stay and I had it for my money. I also discovered the area I was visiting for the first time. I even took the opportunity to go shopping on the German side, in Freiburg im Breisgau. Prices are more attractive there.

I join Hermine, personally I enjoyed staying at this campsite, it is very quiet so restful and especially clean, and sincerely in the 2 stars I have often seen green and not ripe on the hygiene side. After that in terms of entertainment, it's okay still not to abuse, for those seeking GO H 24, must go to the clubs eh, in short, in addition it is very close to Germany ca allows to make nice little restaurants and discover another country. And then for the mobile home, yes it's not new, but again it's a 2 star, we found a clean, functional and maintained, this is what we ask no? For luxury services? Of course, that's another story.

Camping Le Ried is located 2km from the German border and only 8km from europa park (only advantage of this campsite). Upon arrival we were able to choose our location, and for good reason the campsite was far from full. We then suffered the various inconveniences: high-voltage line above the campsite, near a supermarket: noise of deliveries very early in the morning, removal of the glass bucket at 6:45, no trash in the bathroom, or squeegee in the showers. The campsite is equipped with 2 small water spaces: indoor, outdoor with each a pool depth max 1.20 and a paddling pool. However, the 2 paddling pools were without water !!! Babies and young children did not have a water play area! In addition the pools are unattended. No possibility to relax at the end of the day in the pools, closing at 19H. Side animations, they are very limited. Outings are organized only subject to a minimum of 20 participants, unless they end up at the cellar buddy, who offers visit of the cellar, tasting and of course sale !!! Do not expect to drink in the evening a drink in the bar, it is closed from 19H. 2 evenings are organized during the week: flamenkuche evening and lotto evening. To finish a last word on the staff, who speaks in the local dialect between them when they do not want that one understands ... it is frankly unpleasant. Camping very expensive for a 2 star given the services and services offered!
