Camping Strasbourg : The guide

The Strasbourg campground is a great establishment excellently well equipped at the gates of the city center and the small France emblematic of the city. Located in a green setting surrounded by river you will appreciate all the services implemented for your well-being. You will have the choice among the various places to put your tent, caravan or camper. Shade or sun, with or without electricity, it is at your convenience. Whatever happens, they will be flat and trimmed with grass. RVs have their own area. Rental level 4 categories are proposed: tent canvas and wood, cottage, mobile home and trailer. Depending on your choice you can accommodate between 4 and 6 people. All accommodations have sanitary except 2 ranges of tents wood and canvas that are best able to give you the spirit of "camping" to escape. Whatever happens you will have several rooms, a kitchen and an outdoor area for your meals outdoors. A convivial room with board games and television is open to all. You will stay 10 minutes by tram or 14 minutes by bike path or 20 minutes by foot from the heart of the city park. Do not miss the cathedral, the Petite France and its canals, the typical shops, the parks, the architecture, the gastronomy and all the museums. Strasbourg is the Alsatian capital and we know why!

The campsite Le Wagellroot is a municipal establishment in the municipality of Erstein located 20 minutes south of Strasbourg and 20 minutes from the cities of Celestat, Obernai or Lahr in Germany. You will stay on the edge of the city with the countryside and streams as neighbors. Whether you are an annual resident (195 locations) or a tourist for a few days (88 locations) you will have grassed plots delimited by hedges of vegetation to spend a stay in privacy. A toilet block with hot showers and toilets is open to all campers who are not equipped, there is also a drain point for motorhomes. On site you will find a launderette, a snack bar with terrace, a mailbox, a freezer for your ice cream. Entertainment is provided for children and adults and the refreshment bar sometimes comes alive in the evening. The city center with shops, cinema, restaurants, museum is 1.5 km. Athletes will spend on basketball and volleyball courts and table tennis or bowling. Many streams pass around the campsite, you can then rent canoes to survey them. On site a stretch of water with concrete edging as a pool and beach as the sea awaits you. The space is monitored from mid-June until the end of August, you can leave your children safely. At 400 m is the municipal swimming pool with water slides and relaxation area (sauna, fitness ...), children and parents will find their happiness. The proximity to the Rhine Plain and its canals promise you beautiful bike rides without any difficulty, bike paths are flat and easy for all levels. Take a few kilometers to discover the Black Forest in Germany.

The campsite Au Clair ruisseau is on the banks of the Hanfgraben (stream with pier) and a few hundred meters from the Rhine. Located south of Strasbourg, reachable in 30 min, you will be ideally located to discover the Alsace region. Plots of 100 m² await you to install your tent, caravan or motorhome in the shade of old trees and hedges, but rest assured the sun also has its place. You will have electricity and water and a stabilized ground with emptying area for motorhomes. If you wish to reside throughout the season there are solutions. Several types of rental are offered: chalets (4 to 6), mobile homes (4 to 7) and pods (for 2 or 3). The chalets are wooden and installed near the pond, they have 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette, a bathroom and separate toilet. A terrace is there to enjoy the outdoors. The mobile homes have the same benefits. The pods are small wooden domes with crazy charm and are perfect for short stays for hikers, bikers or canoeists. Regarding the services you will find a grocery store, laundry, wifi, breakfasts and evening meals. A beautiful bathing area awaits you. A pond with clear water naturally renewed (and controlled) will be ideal to cool off, there is a delimited space with shallow water for children and solariums grassed for tanning. Athletes will take care of the volleyball court, the ping-pong tables and the bowling alley. The children have their own area and barbecues are available. Fishing is possible for free for guests. Fans of equines will be able to make beautiful walks backpack or trolleys. Moreover the area is conducive to the escape, you have the opportunity to rent canoes, bicycles, boats to browse the surroundings. The Alsace region is full of tourist sites so do not miss them!

La forêt de Haguenau offre une diversité d’activités : des randonnées (200km de sentiers balisés), des circuits dédiés au vélo en site propre, une aire de pique-nique, une aire de jeux, une auberge ainsi que de nombreuses activités nature telles que la sylvothérapie. Véritable poumon vert de la ville, vous pourrez grâce à son plan et ses fiches randonnées faire le plein de nature !
