Know-All-About-Camping

The Vauban campsite owes its name to the famous architect who built the citadel listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the foot of which is the establishment. A green and flat landscape dotted with large trees awaits you between the city of Colmar in Alsace and Freiburg in Germany.

Large sites with vegetation and hedges are provided to accommodate your tent, caravan or camper. You will really feel like being in nature.

Rentals are atypical. They are composed of tipis (large tents), bivouacs on stilts and Kotas Finnish (hexagonal wooden house). The change of scenery is guaranteed. This is the number of people who will guide your choice because tipis can accommodate up to 6 holidaymakers, bivouacs up to 2 and kota up to 4. Each accommodation has more or less equipment but whatever happens the toilet blocks will compensate if need.

Level service the address offers wifi, fresh bread and laundry. All amenities are within walking distance inside the citadel.

Well-being is required with the presence of a sauna in one of the kotas. Good lovers of gastronomy can also rent a kota equipped with a central grill to make beautiful treats with family or friends up to 10 people.

The visits are numerous in the surroundings. Start with the citadel of Vauban which hosts a charming and lively city center (5 minutes walk). Learn about hiking and biking as there is plenty to do, the nearby Rhine offers beautiful cycle paths. See you in Colmar to discover the little Venice and Alsatian architecture. To speak another language you will just have to cross the Rhine and reach Freiburg in Germany.
