When I arrived, I took the bus "my line" while taking the bus "SNCF". I called the campsite and an employee came to pick me up by car at the bus stop. The mobile home is immaculate and very clean. There is wi-fi and TV, which makes the happiness of my son who looks at Gulli and plays with his tablet. The campsite is nice, with trees and flowers and quite calm. The cure at Bagneres de Bigorre is extremely beneficial and the staff very friendly. The mobilhome has 2 bedrooms and we have a garden furniture and a large drying rack. Washing machine 3.5? and electric dryers in the campsite are very appreciable. The campsite is 15 minutes from the thermal baths. There is a proxi (small supermarket) 2 min walk and lots of small business (pizzeria, 2 bakeries, pharmacy, tobacco-press, fruit seller etc. ..) 3 min walk. Very good value for money. No mosquitoes and other flying insects, we hear the birds singing. Stay very appreciated, we will return next year.

Know-All-About-Camping

The campsite Les Fruitiers which is an old orchard is located in Bagnères de Bigorre in the Hautes-Pyrénées and invites to spend a nature stay near many exceptional natural sites.

In the campsite Les Fruitiers, it will be possible for each member of the family to enjoy adapted activities. The bowlers will meet on the petanque ground while the children will enjoy the playground with swings and slide. There are also video games and a ping-pong area. Animated evenings are organized so that holidaymakers can have a good time together. Outside the campsite, it will be proposed to explore the Pic du Midi or the Cirques de Gavarnie, Estaube and Troumouse. These must-see sites can be reached on foot, on horseback or even by mule. The National Park invites you to go hiking and admire an exceptional flora and fauna. Many activities such as canyoning, via ferrata, rafting and paragliding are practicable and will bring a maximum of sensations. Nature lovers will appreciate, at the bend of a path to meet marmots, vultures or bearded Gypoaetes. Activities are also happening in winter and it will be possible to reach the ski resorts of Tourmalet. Beautiful snowshoeing is possible and will follow tracks of wild animals.

The campsite has grassy pitches, flat and shaded. Functional toilets are accessible. It will also be possible to rent a mobile home for 4 to 6 people with two bedrooms, a bathroom, separate toilet, a kitchen and a terrace with garden furniture. Holidaymakers will also have the opportunity to rent a furnished apartment, from the studio for 2 people to the apartment for 4/5 people.

The sites to visit do not miss around the camping Fruitiers. It will be possible in particular to discover the caves of Gargas, Médous and Betharram as well as the chasm of Esparos. Cultural places are also worth visiting such as the Salies Museum.
