Well located campsite, near the city center, the beach but also shops. Staff very welcoming, many animations and varied. A real hideaway for a peaceful family holiday. To discover !

Frankly, we were happy to discover this beautiful place. My wife and I, accompanied by our 2 children aged 8 and 10, thoroughly enjoyed a pleasant stay, with a staff that was immediately very welcoming when we arrived. And this lasted throughout our stay. We spent only 10 days there, and this is perhaps the only regret to highlight. We rented a mobile home, it was clean and well maintained with an integrated kitchen and the whole family felt good. We had an unforgettable time with the kids. A wonderful campsite for families.

Know-All-About-Camping

The campsite Les Catalpas is a 3-star establishment located 5km from Royan at the edge of the Atlantic. It is also close to major attractions in the Charente Maritime such as the Palmyre Zoo, Saint-Georges-de-Didonne and the famous Fort Boyard.

In the campsite is an aquatic area consisting of two heated pools. The large pool is 15m long and 160cm deep and the other pool is 7m long and 160cm deep. The ground of the aquatic area is paved and deckchairs are arranged all around for those who want to bask in the sun. A playground is available for children with hut, slide, climbing wall and monkey bridge, all on a sandy floor. Holidaymakers can enjoy a petanque ground, ping-pong tables and a bike rental service for walking around the campsite. A games room is present with table football and billiards. Nearby there are many activities and it will be possible for those who wish to do various water sports, tree climbing, mini golf, horse riding and golf. You will enjoy all the benefits of a Tohapi campsite.

The campsite Les Catalpas offers activities for teens as well as for children thanks to the mini-club which invites them to participate in various workshops and fun activities. In the evening, dance evenings and karaoke nights are organized for all holidaymakers who will be able to share a moment of conviviality.

The campsite offers its holidaymakers pitches that can accommodate up to 6 people on a wooded plot. Mobile homes are also available, which can accommodate between 4 and 6 people depending on the model. They all include bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, separate toilets and a garden. It is also possible to rent a cottage with a room, a surface of 20m2 that can accommodate 4 people.
