Know-All-About-Camping

Located right on the famous Île de Ré, the campsite Les Baleines invites holidaymakers to spend a stay in a natural and preserved environment. This campsite is certified European Ecolabel since it makes every effort to reduce its ecological impact on the surrounding nature.

At Les Baleines campsite, petanque enthusiasts will enjoy 3 courts reserved for them to play games and tournaments at will. The campsite also has a volleyball court, mini golf and table tennis. A bike rental service is available to allow holidaymakers to enjoy beautiful walks along the bike path. Direct access to the Whale Lighthouse Beach will allow anglers to go fishing and angling. The children will be able to enjoy the playground at their disposal to have fun and spend all their energy.

A children's club is present, supervised by a BAFA host and welcomes children from 4 to 12 years old to allow them to participate in activities such as treasure hunts, group games, explore in the middle natural, Olympics and small shows that will be presented later. A qualified sports coach offers sports coaching sessions on the beach with boxing-cardio and group circuit training.

Campers will be able to find their happiness among the 170 sites proposed, distributed on the ground. These sites are of an average surface of 100m2, on sandy and grassy ground. They can be semi-shaded or sunny and surrounded by vegetation. It is also possible to rent a mobil-home any comfort. The standard 2 bedroom model has an area of 29m2 and has a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, toilet and a terrace with garden furniture and parasol.

Near the campsite, holidaymakers can visit the village of Les Portes en Ré or St Martin de Ré and its citadel of the 17th century.
