Camping Le Plein Air des Chênes

Very disappointed by this first visit to the aquatic area that will be the last !! We came to spend the day with family and friends, 5 adults and 5 children between 2 and 11 years old. The day at the water's edge went well BUT ... !! During our meal break at 12:30 in the restaurant (since there is no possibility to picnic on site), the service was more than mediocre !! - 15 minutes for us to take the order, pass again. It lacks several drinks (sodas) available, the choice is quite limited. We are told "they have not received delivery this morning". - No toilets available for the 2-year-old (and other guests) to go to bed. - We had to ask the server to get a bread basket and our drinks, served 10 minutes later only by the heat that we know in the South at this time, 25 minutes after sitting. - 20 minutes later, we receive our dishes that the server deposits at the end of the table and we must pass us. Pizzas, salads and children's menus (fried steak), without great flavor and lukewarm. As a reminder, on the official website, the campsite displays 4 * ... it leaves you thinking! It turns out that it lacked a dish, the server explains that the cook "has a little too much fun last night" and "it does not work at all today". "He brings him back as soon as possible". - The missing dish (a salad meal) is finally served 25 minutes later while we all almost finished eating of course, without an excuse and hardly a look. - We ask the desserts of children's menus and coffees that arrive again 20 minutes after asking them. - Finally, at the moment of paying, while the manager makes humor on whether to return my credit card and get the associated code (??), I explain that given the conditions of the meal I have lost a little smile. What he says to me "Reflections like that, I do not want to hear them !! You do not have to come back and besides, from next week, the pool will be closed to the public, she will be reserved only for people of the campsite !! Good luck to find campsites that welcome the public in their pool !! ". On what, he turned his back on us. End of the conversation. - We had the icing on the cake when we went back to the pool. The security guard, (who is very nice by the way, it changes), asked us nicely if our meal had gone well. We were honest in replying that we had been asked not to come back and that we were unhappy with that moment. He asked us who told us that and when we described the man in question, a second man sitting next to him said to us in an aggressive tone, "This is my brother, what is there? ?! ". Decidedly, aggression and lack of commercial sense seem to be acceptable behavior for these people. To conclude, I do not recommend this place because of the way they treat their guests. A simple "sorry for the wait" would have been enough !! We can understand that there are more busy days than others, "tiles" that arrive like the delivery of drinks not received, the staff missing but the least is to apologize for the wait and not not to attack the customers, especially considering the price spent.

Nice family campsite with many activities and infrastructures. Mobile home at the top with a beautiful shaded terrace. The children have discovered a passion for tennis and mini-golf. Many people at the pool, but the water slides are still a great success (children 10 and 13 years).
