Camping Le Giessen

Very calm and pleasant campsite. Very well maintained! Great location for sightseeing tours of Alsace. I highly recommend this campsite!

We had a very good stay. A great location, shady and quiet (except the noise of cars at night) ... Well located to discover Alsace. The free activities offered by the tourist office are very nice and allow to meet the locals. The aquatic complex is a definite asset, but also the river that runs through the campsite and in which we played hours with children and teenagers. I recommend this campsite.

A pleasant, relaxing stay, with multiple activities satisfying all members of the family, both adults and children, a great animation team. The site is beautiful, camping very family. Exactly what we were looking for!

we first pitched our tent at the campsite Giessen in Bassemberg, the team is very friendly, pleasant, pleasant stay with lively family nights, the children loved to paddle in the river, play in the park and participate in the proposed activities by the entertainment team, we had a good time at the snack bar where we can taste regional specialties concocted by the snack team; also the most free access to the nearby aquatic center. In short if you want to spend a pleasant stay in a beautiful region go to the campsite Giessen in Bassemberg.

Camping Le Giessen is located in Bassemberg. 1.7 km from Villé, it is easy to walk. There are all the shops. Our mobile home was clean, big and comfortable (Mobilhome Luxury 6 pers). Small flat spring mattresses that are uncomfortable. The aquatic center was outside the campsite (about 400m) heated swimming pool, with mandatory cap. The welcome on the campsite was warm and pleasant. Friendly staff. The animations were nil. No atmosphere although the weather was not of the party the hosts were soft "without fiber of animator". It felt like bothering them. The children's club offered only coloring drawings to children as it was noted on the brochure: pottery, painting, drawings ... No proposal for mini-shows featuring children. An effort of fact as for the evenings (groups external singers). Too bad there is no grocery store on the site and there are only 2 washing machines for all the camping. The terrace of the bar is too small and does not allow any usability. The bar and snack bar offer only limited choices (especially the snack bar). No staff dedicated to the bar during the day which forces us to disturb the staff made available for the reception. Strategic point for ballads. We are at the center of everything (45 minutes from Colmar, 45 minutes from Strasbourg, 1 hour from Friborg ...).
