"A corner of Paradise!"

Excellent lakefront location. The pitches are flat and fairly spacious, almost all overlooking the lake. A well kept private campsite with a very family atmosphere. The owners are friendly and always ready to lend a hand (the boss did not hesitate to start his old tractor to help me move my caravan). Only downside: the restaurant which was opened only occasionally. In short, a beautiful setting, nice people, a good atmosphere, and ultimately, a great holiday.

Know-All-About-Camping

Camping La Romiguière, located on the edge of Lake Selve promises its campers a stay in peace, where activities are not lacking nevertheless.

In the campsite, there are many activities that will give the whole family an unforgettable stay. A swimming pool is present, with clear view on the hills and nature, equipped with deckchairs to alternate swimming and relaxation. A volleyball court is available. It is possible to do slackline or petanque. Lovers of water activities can go to the lake for fishing and try to catch carp, pikeperch, perch and pike, or rent boats, paddle boats or canoes. Introductions to scuba diving are possible as well as boat trips. In order to spend convivial moments, petanque competitions are organized as well as show parties and campfire evenings.

Three types of mobile homes are available for rent. The advantages of these mobile homes are that they have a wooden terrace with garden furniture and are equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave oven, a coffee maker, hotplates, dishes, blankets and pillows. Canvas bungalows of 16m2 are also available for rent and can accommodate 5 people.

The surroundings of the campsite La Romiguière have a large number of treasures to discover to holidaymakers. Thus, those who wish it will be able to visit the Cascade of the Jumping of the Dog, the Valley of the Truyère and the dam of Sarrans, the village of Aubrac and its highlands as well as Saint-Urcize, Bèz-Bédène, the Castle of Bousquet as well as the ruins of the castle of Thénières. Celebrations are to be discovered in family as the festival of the transhumance which takes place in Aubrac. At this festival, the cows of the country walk in high mountains adorned with flowers and ribbons. Medieval in Estaing is also a must event, the whole village takes on the colors of the Middle Ages and knights and ladies will be able to eat and dance to the rhythm of the drums.
