"Extremely disappointed"

We spent 2 weeks camping Oceanic early August 2018. We are extremely disappointed that we expected a campsite CALM as it was mentioned on the website. Certainly the campsite itself is not noisy but polished by the noise of any kind of campsites around. It goes garbage pickups camping yelloh village located just behind the tent at 8am or during the lunch hour and the odors that go with (truck crane because this site accommodates 3000 people) it lasts between 15 and 30 minutes generally. You also have the right to blow dead leaves with a thermal blower or brushing early in the morning. And in the evening nothing better than the music of neighboring campsites at very strong decibels from 21h to 1h with rotten and well-rotten songs every night !!! And lack of bowl considering that the ground for the tents is juxtaposed not only in the bins but also in the carpark of the neighboring camp-site you have the slamming of doors, noisy breles and others which start until 2, 3am of the morning! We almost left a few days earlier so it hit us on the system. The day we left we told the owners of the campsite, they told us that in any case the campers in tent it did not bring them anything to compare mobile homes so in a few years it will be only mobile homes. Basically they did not care about what they were told. And what I have not told you yet is that the tent sites are not very big, that you have to go through the neighbor's camp to access yours and vice versa. The location for the car is so tight between two hedges that it's all right if you can get out of your vehicle ... In other words, if you choose this campsite to pitch your tent and rest, I advise you to look elsewhere. ... and if by chance you decide to go anyway you will most certainly have a thought for us when you smell the good smell of garbage from the nearby campsite ...

noise until 3am, no security in the campsite at night, no entertainment, no hygiene in the bathroom, 3 toilets, 2 do not work properly, ditto for showers, or suddenly the showers are or cold or hot, in short sanitary obsolete! And to top it all off! This campsite which is a 3 star deserves a single

"to avoid completely"

Camping Oceanic is located in Labenne we rented 2 mobile homes for 3 days a real nightmare .... the officials came to wake us at 7 am ... we were only sleeping happily .. at the end of our stay they held us 50? for bowls not wiped and 300? for a so-called broken curtain bar ... we had to have the gendarmerie

Know-All-About-Camping

At the gates of the Basque Country, in the Landes department in New Aquitaine, the 3-star camping L'Océanic Labenne awaits you on the Silver Coast in a preserved and green 1200 meters from the golden beaches of the Atlantic Ocean .

In this campsite where reigns calm and tranquility, you will be able to sleep comfortably in chalets or mobil-home, composed of two to three rooms, a room to be lived with corner cooks equipped, a room of water with toilet and a furnished terrace. Your tents, caravans and camper can occupy large semi-shaded and delimited sites, with access to an electrical connection.

To enhance your stay, the campsite offers a heated swimming pool and a paddling pool for children surrounded by deckchairs and parasols, a bowling alley and a playground for children including toboggan and climbing wall.

If the campsite does not offer entertainment other than friendly pétanque competitions, you will find in the surroundings more leisure facilities such as a water park, a tree climbing course or a mini golf and many hiking trails. Also note that a free shuttle bus will take you directly to the beach to practice relaxing on the sand or water sports of all kinds!

For meals, you can enjoy a bread oven accessible in high season and a snack bar with a pleasant outdoor terrace.

From this campsite located between Hossegor and Biarritz, in Labenne itself, go visit the zoo to see more than 200 different animals, discover the local gastronomic treasures on the night market every Monday night, attend one of the races of landaise cows planned every Thursday evening of the summer or by going a little further, go to the discovery of the folk Festival of Bayonne organized late July or early August!
