I went to this campsite 3 years ago, I thought it was really perfect! The price a little expensive but like any other in the south! The funky kids club! Evenings tops! And the accommodation super nice! The staff super friendly and friendly! Perfect campsite! Nothing to say !

Very nice campsite in a beautiful setting. Warm welcome, mobile home very clean and spacious. Aquatic area very nice with enough sunbeds. The shows are nice and the host team up to it. Bravo and continue well

We spent 1 week in MH (411) with a 6 year old child at Hippocampe. This campsite is very nice, the water area is varied (diving board, large jacuzzi can also be used as a small bath, 2 beautiful pools distributing the volume of holidaymakers, slides and paddling pool (can be a little succinct but in fact children s "always have fun with 3 times nothing!) and most importantly, we never had to run to find a sunbed which is a luxury at the campsite in August! The whole staff is charming, attentive and good advice, warm, (kid's club, reception, restaurant, grocery store, technical staff: we had to make a change of mattress because of sick child, in a morning it was settled and not even hold on the deposit. .. thank you again, not forgetting ToutBeau ...) We particularly enjoyed the services of the artistic team that offers every evening real professional shows, which we bluffed, a big congratulations to them, we are still glued ( Metam show Orose, and the French cancan in Dutch costume will remain cult!). The possibility also for the little ones to have a mini disco is really nice. The meeting with the different asso who present their activity is a rich idea and allows to start where we would not have done on a simple prospectus ... We are given on arrival a small document indicating several possibilities of outings in the region, and how to get there who, for having tested it, is very thorough and well done (better than my Michelin guide!). Thank you for this idea. Finally, I do not know if it is the majority presence of the Dutch or the song of cicadas and the smell of Lavender, but we found the atmosphere very cool, no stress, no aggressiveness (that we have already felt in PACA), real nice holidays. we said something by going back: that next year we would stay longer!

I spent 2 weeks at this campsite it was very good, the animations are good, the whole team is very friendly they made us laugh! One evening we ate at the restaurant for the paela evening the plate was busy, the waiters were very charming and smiling we had a good time despite the weather ... the pools and water slides were pretty cool! Most days it was nice and hot. I made very beautiful meetings I am happy with these 2 weeks spent at the seahorse. I highly recommend it

We spent 3 weeks in this mobile home, good 5-star establishment with good structures for children and teenagers but we expected better on some benefits. Weaknesses: - pool too small at peak hours - No press in the morning (surprising) - The home of the supermarket is very limited, we have the impression to disturb (not kind), more croissant and chocolate bread from 9:45 am - The animations for the sunny club were too cantoned to make coloring, assembly and cutting, for the teenagers the activities were not adapted (that sports tournaments). - Coktail a bit expensive at the bar and restaurant card. - The restaurant staff not very friendly (we do not have four arms, you're not alone). - No foolishness of the majority of the animators to set fire and attract the vacationers (water polo is to give the balloon and to install two cages and unravel you, for the volley it is idem Strong points: - Cleanliness of the whole camping nickel, sanitary, driveway, playground, terrace, etc ... gardener always in action - Mobile home brand new, very well equipped and very clean, beautiful plot, - Staff very friendly and available office - Exceptional evening entertainment (ste exterieur), never seen.Evening evening very original, cabaret hilarious, evening foam, evening caque (super) .... 10/10 - The water of the pool is clear and the sunbeds are always available (no lack) - The restaurant is very good but high price for a camping - Animation varied and nice adults (petanque, vollley, Olympics, archery Camping very nice but should be ' to fill some posts with more qualified staff, pool may be thinking for the future) great structure and perfect equipment, great environment. Camping advised in the area.

Peaceful stay, quiet camping. The pools are ok and the slides are fun for the kids. Very good restaurant (not given), there is a mini market that makes pizzas, but no snack to eat quickly. The mobile home was clean and corresponded to the description. Nice stay but not up to these 5 stars.

I left in August with 5 other friends while camping and I discovered a very good campsite. The activities are varied and the animators are smiling and competent. The site and the toilets are clean and the facilities are correct (although the pool is often busy). I highly recommend it (but do not forget the mosquito repellent)

3rd stay in 4 years, but for the first time this year in mobile home ... I regretted the previous time the dilapidated pools and their surroundings, it is now the past. The water park has been completely refurbished, and it even features a new jacuzzi and a nice paddling pool for toddlers. Unfortunately both pools are stormed by dabblers and baballe players, it is absolutely impossible to swim except coming very early in the morning or late at night. That said it seems that a 3rd basin is planned, if it could be reserved for swimmers it would be perfect. It is still difficult to find free sun beds during the day, many come to grab them in the morning by putting towels or personal belongings, while they really arrive only in the afternoon. Fortunately the young man who monitors the basins in the afternoon, does not hesitate to make room by releasing all sunbeds and reserved. The campsite's restaurant is always on top, you can eat there much better than in many traditional restaurants. Prices are supported (but after all they are posted and everyone is free to come or not), but given the quality and the efficient service, this remains justified. In addition, there are two daily specials, always very well served and presented. Note that on the spot or take away the pizzas are the same price, but to take away they are ... 2 times larger! The mobile home (3 bedrooms) was quiet, with air conditioning (phew!), But we regret a little arcopal tableware retirement home, not really up to the challenge: not easy to cut his steak in a plate that rocks all the time nor to find two identical cutlery. Strange thing, there is an inventory at the end while there is none when arriving, I do not see too much interest. Beware, we do not come here for the tourist surroundings, the region is sad, like Sisteron or Digne-les-Bains (do not expect to find a good family restaurant, it's a gastronomic desert). Even the despicable Pataterie de Digne as a last resort (for children ......) seems to no longer exist. Hello Alexandre and all the team of Sunêlia l'Hippocampe, continue in this way ... I recommend of course this campsite.

our first time camping with our 7 year old son ... I was a little scared ... but cleanliness of the nickel housing, cleanliness of the campsite itself perfect. Nickel pools including a heated and paddling pool for smaller children, separate waterslides and secure good initiative. It is true there were people because July but there is room for all, without worries. Animations always on time, animators very nice and very polite. The restaurant is very good, the cocktails are very good but for the price we could put less ice ;-) Beautiful lake view with possibility to rent a pedal boat or others. There is even a helicopter that passes over the campsite for mosquitoes it's great! Very nice staff both at the grocery store and restaurant. Not much around the campsite, unless you like sightseeing and walking. There is an intermarché not far, because the grocery store is a dépanne and a pharmacy 300m from the campsite. Thank you for being at the service of your customers! we will definitely return!

Camping L'Hippocampe is located in Volonne, about 20 km from Sisteron and Dignes. Our mobile home was very comfortable and very pleasant. The pool was too small compared to the capacity in the high season. Not enough sunbeds by the pool, many people came to place their towel at the opening to be sure to have a place! something normally forbidden by the campsite but the staff closes their eyes. The welcome on the campsite was very good. The entertainment was impeccable, impossible to be bored for a second

Friendly welcome and this year the Dutch colony was more discreet than in previous years ... We were in a Bengali and I would not renew the experience because of the noise and lack of privacy ... no sound insulation and too close one another. The mosquitoes have feasted like every year ... otherwise, the surroundings are very pleasant, Sisteron very nice ... I'm not sure to return to the Hippocampus ... too much noise and not enough respect between campers ... cars starting at 7am and some playing tennis at 7:30 ... not so good ... There should be more coaching at this level ...

Camping L'Hippocampe is located in Volonne, a small village of Provence very welcoming The pool or the water park are too small for the number of people welcomed The welcome on the campsite was very good The entertainment is organized by the organizers of the campsite, not bad at all against mosquitoes feast your skin there is 80% Dutch, not too annoying not too much privacy between the cottages, it lacks palisades between the cottages to fix it
