Terrain very well located despite the division operated by the D952 (which is not embarrassing at all) The place is an excellent starting point for all sports activities (or less sports ..) proposed by the region. I regret the WiFi system unworthy of a 4-star campsite (ridiculously low radius and unnecessarily complicated access, unreliable) I also regret that at the end of the season the grocery store is so poorly supplied (more press, by example). For the rest, there are few complaints about this campsite, if not, as everywhere, alas, a very high price of stay.

If you are looking for a standing campsite with direct access to the Verdon River, let us introduce you to the Camping Gorges du Verdon 4 * in Castellane. High-end campsite located in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Verdon, it is located on the edge of a river beach, giving you privileged access to the canyon descents as a bathing invigorating!

At the campsite Gorges du Verdon 4 * you can enjoy the outdoor heated pool and paddling pool. You will then be able to take part in organized outings of white water sports or hikes or to fish for trout on the river.
The children will be able to participate in the workshops and games organized by the campsite, play on the outdoor area while the older ones will adopt the sports field or the fitness trail.

The campsite offers rental housing with optimal comfort. You will elect your holiday home among tents canvas and wood, bungalows, chalets or mobile homes. The converted tents accommodate up to 4 people. The bungalows offer a terrace of 10 m² and enclose 2 rooms for 3 people. The wooden chalets and their covered terrace accommodate from 3 to 6 people. Finally the mobile homes are all modern, with wood or aluminum facade and glazing. They can accommodate 5 or 6 people and have an outdoor or semi-covered terrace.
Campers will pitch their tent, caravan or motorhome on grassy, shady spots.

At the Gorges du Verdon campsite you will find yourself at the campsite's Life Center with its café terraces, restaurant, book and game loans and grocery store.
