Camping De Thuries

The Thuriès campsite is a secluded haven in the Viaur valley below the village of Pampelonne. You will be north of the department of Tarn near Aveyron, a region where nature is a gift.

Put your tent, caravan or motorhome at the water's edge on one of the 29 sites that the campsite has. You will access the electrical terminals and five water points very easily. A drain area is present for motorhomes.

Two types of accommodation are rented and each is original. The Bivouak is a dwelling in the shape of an Indian tent made of wood. A nest of 6 m² for 2 with a terrace, a table and chairs. Chalet Africa for an exotic holiday as safari. Here 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and separate toilets are waiting for you.

A swimming pool is at your disposal when you are tired of the river and the lake. The campsite offers canoe rental for family outings or with friends. In the evening, the campsite's restaurant comes alive with theme nights and meals to share.

The surroundings are conducive to the ride, the staff will be happy to guide you to the many hiking trails that are from the camp. In Pampelonne you will visit the castle of Thuriès, the place of Foirail and the arboretum. A few kilometers to Carmaux to discover his glass art museum. The city of Albi also has nice sites to visit: Toulouse-Lautrec Museum or the episcopal city. Rodez is also easily accessible to discover its architecture, its cathedral or its Soulage museum.
