mixed reception. electricity did not work on our site. the gentleman at the reception must have forgotten that he had promised to solve the problem quickly.nous we are connected thanks to our neighbors who have kindly offered their help. sanitary not at all practical, the water of the showers flowing to the toilets. more water of the shower is iced or cold, no possibility to regulate the temperature. otherwise quiet campsite, well located, shady enough.

Know-All-About-Camping

At the gates of the Gorges du Verdon and on the shores of Lake St. Croix is the Chanteraine campsite, which offers an exceptional setting conducive to a relaxing and lively holiday at a time.

The campsite has an outdoor pool heated off season, accompanied by sunbeds and surrounded by trees and greenery. Children and adults alike can enjoy volleyball, table football and ping-pong. A playground is available for children with swings. Those who do not want to cook can go sit at the campsite restaurant that offers them quality Provencal cuisine, all in a beautiful setting with views of Lake St. Croix. A grocery store is responsible for providing everything needed and also serves as a bread depot. Around the pool, a snack opens in the summer and allows you to eat at any time of the day.

Away from the camping pitches, to have a quiet setting, are the mobile homes available for rent by the campsite Chanteraine. These mobile homes are recent and good quality, perfect to accommodate a family in the greatest comfort. These accommodations are equipped and planned for 4 to 5 people with two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom with separate toilet, a kitchen and a wooden terrace ideal for al fresco dining and moments of conviviality.

The campsite is located on the shores of Lake St. Croix, which allows vacationers to swim on wild sites and supervised beaches. It will be possible to rent sailboats, windsurfers, electric boats or paddle boats. To better appreciate the beauty of the Gorges du Verdon, holidaymakers can go up and admire the huge cliffs. Two GR routes are accessible for hikers from the campsite. The brave ones can go rock climbing, bungee jumping, hydrospeed, rafting, water hiking and even paragliding. The picturesque villages around invite visitors to discover their Provencal markets and walk in their typical streets.
