The Petit Port de l'Houmeau campsite is located in Charente Maritime on the Atlantic Coast and offers its vacationers a green and quiet in a family atmosphere just 800m from the ocean.

A space dedicated to swimming and relaxation is available to holidaymakers in the grounds of the Petit Port de l'Houmeau campsite. The latter has a large swimming pool with loungers. The basin is 90m2 with a balneo area. Young children can have fun in the secure paddling pool at their disposal. Ping-pong tables are available, as well as a children's play area with a hut, slide, swings and springs, all on grassy and sandy grounds. The campsite offers a bike rental service that allows those who wish to go on bike paths to La Rochelle or the Ile de Re and its 80km of bicycle networks.

At the Petit Port de l'Houmeau campsite, holidaymakers can rent a 3-bedroom mobile home that can accommodate up to 8 people in 30m2 of living space. An outdoor terrace is present, half covered. The mobile home consists of a bedroom with double bed and two bedrooms with twin beds, a living room with convertible sofa, a shower with sink and separate toilet and a kitchen with refrigerator , hotplates, coffee maker and dishes. The terrace has a garden furniture.

Near the campsite is the Aquarium La Rochelle which allows the whole family to make a wonderful trip underwater and discover all kinds of marine species. Holidaymakers will also be able to discover the La Rochelle Automaton Museum and its ancient figurines from all over Europe. The Maritime Museum of La Rochelle invites to discover the ports and the large gallery of the pavilion as well as the history and the evolution of the port sites of La Rochelle.
