"On the edge of one of the most touristic roads of the country!"

Some pitches unworthy of a 5 stars! Indeed if you are looking for calm this campsite is all along the road to the 3 circuses including the one of Gavarnie; this road is also that which goes from the aubisque to the tourmalet without forgetting the cable car for the pic of the midi very frequented too, all this representing some millions of tourists per year which pass with about fifteen meters of some places located more about 3 or 4 meters in height compared to the road (maximum noise) !! So from 5am it is more than 360 cars, buses or trucks per hour that wakes you up with a headache and the frequency is increasing! We wanted to make us happy for the first time in a 5 stars and regret our 850 euros: we even left a day before. When I mentioned this problem at the reception, I was told: "We did not warn you? The problem is known! I said that they should not rent such sites especially for a 5 star. In short our worst vacation in 35 years and the most expensive.

Camping Airotel Pyrenees is located in Esquieze sere in the Pyrenees at the foot of the Col du Tourmalet, near the passes of Aubisque, Soulor, and Hautacam We went in tent for 3 weeks from 4 to 25 August 2012 with a very very interesting price for 21 nights The campsite has 2 outdoor pools with 2 slides (ideal for children) and an indoor swimming pool The welcome on the campsite was very good. Small grocery store with bread and newspapers in the morning. The entertainment was rather restricted for adults (2 evenings per week) but of good standing with a respect of the perfect hour, for children under 10 years successful animations (animations types: decorative style, preparation dance party 1 week on 2, ..), for teenagers no animation except the dance party and football tournament, basketball, ping pong, ... In the end very nice camping in a very pretty place to discover, family camping

For holidays in the mountains in summer and winter, welcome to Camping Airotel Pyrenees 5 * in Luz Saint Sauveur in the Hautes Pyrenees. Close to ski slopes and exceptional sites such as Cirque de Gavarnie, Pic du Midi and Lake Neouvielle, this luxury campsite welcomes you 800 meters from the village and its shops.

The 5 * campsite Airotel Purénées offers a water park that will appeal to all the family: an indoor heated pool, 2 heated outdoor pools and a water slide. Around the pools you can relax on the solarium terrace furnished with deckchairs. In addition, you will have a Balneo area with steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi, hydromassage and SPA.

A 5 * campsite near the ski resorts in the Pyrenees

There are 3 cross-country and alpine ski resorts 15 to 40 minutes drive from the campsite. In summer, you will enjoy activities and sports equipment of the campsite: climbing instructor, multisport field, children's entertainment, gym, bowling alley and ping-pong tables ... And in the evening the campsite will delight you with its activities or events musical.

To stay at the 5 * campsite, make your choice: mobile homes, apartments or chalets. The mobile homes have 2 or 3 bedrooms and have an outdoor terrace with umbrella and garden furniture. You will find mobile homes accessible to the PMR. You can also rent apartments with 3 bedrooms for 6 to 8 people or one room for 4 people. The apartments are in a residence 2 km from the campsite with private pool. The wood and slate chalets are authentically Pyrenean! They accommodate up to 6 people in a warm and tastefully decorated interior. And if you come with your tent, caravan or camper, you will encounter large sites equipped with electricity.

The campsite does not have a restaurant but you will find many tables offering traditional dishes in the village, 800 m from the campsite.
