Know-All-About-Camping

In Nouvelle-Aquitaine, in the Gironde department, the 3-star campsite L'Oree du Bois de Hourtin welcomes you in a wooded area of more than 2 hectares 2.5 km from Lake Hourtin, the largest natural lake from France and 12 km from the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean.

In this campsite, you can stay in one of the various fully equipped accommodations, all with a terrace with garden furniture: mobile homes for 2 to 6 people, chalets for 4 to 6 guests and coco sweet and tents without sanitary for 4 or 5 people. You will be able to install your tents, motorhomes and caravans on large delimited sites, shaded, semi-shaded or under the sun, with electrical connection for the majority.

On the sports and leisure side, everyone will find something! You will enjoy a swimming pool with paddling pool for your little ones, a bowling alley, a room with billiard, puck and video games, table tennis, bicycles for rent and a plot multisport. At the reception, you will find a library area. Finally the playground with swing and slide will delight the youngest.

In high season, the campsite programs many activities for everyone such as sports tournaments, initiations archery or blowgun and playful evenings or dancing.

To restore you, you will have available a collective barbecue, a grocery store of necessity, a bread deposit as well as a snack-bar with terrace offering ice-creams, drinks and ready meals to consume on the spot or to take away.
