Camping Caminha

Camping Caminha takes place in the extreme north of Portugal a few meters from the border with Spain. It is located in the middle of the forest in the park Mata Do Camarido 200 m from the beach of Camarido at the edge of the estuary of the river minho.

Large trees form beautiful areas of shadows to install your tent or caravan. You will have electrical terminals to connect you.

In hiring there are mobil-homes being able to accomodate from 2 to 5 people, they have rooms, corner cooks and toilets. Obviously they are all equipped with an outdoor area to enjoy the outdoors. It also has Bengalis (large tents) planned for a maximum of 5 people without kitchen or sanitary because you will be close to a fully equipped block.

Service level the establishment has provided the wifi, the rent of sheets, a room of television, a launderette. A bar, a supermarket and a restaurant are open on site for the amenities and if needed the city center is 2500 m.

The little extra here is the double beach as you choose between fresh water from the river or salt water from the ocean, fishermen will also be delighted with the double choice of fish variety. The children will spend time on the playground reserved for them.

In the surroundings you can access to many activities: fishing, boating, sailing, horse riding, canoeing, bike path, golf or surfing.

Picturesque sites are worth visiting such as the viewpoint of Santo Antao or the village of Vilar de Mouros with its water mills.
